PUERTO PLATA CHURCH OF CHRIST.
DOMINICAN REPUBLIC.
Activities inside and outside the city for September until November
23-2008.

Our mission in that part of the world go ahead and God is blessing our work every day.
We are visiting and traveling to our ten (10) working areas inside and outside the city, where we have congregations. On October, a group of brothers and one sister traveled to Belloso, La Isabela, and we made a good job. We have a house and a lot there, and we hope in God to form a new congregation in that place. Balloso is at one hours and half of Puerto Plata.
On september we had the honour to have with us to the brothers Teodoro Castañeda and Armando Artiga from Texas. They came to Dominican Republic to preach two evangelistic campaign in Barahona and La Vega cities. They made a good job there. They are our brothers and friends, and several years ago, brother Pablo Pérez and I stayed one week together at them in Texas. They visited us in Puerto Plata and we enjoyed very much with them.
GOOD NEWS ABOUT THE CHURCH OF CHRIST IN DOMINICAN REPUBLIC.
On november 1-2008 brother Luis Alvárez and I traveled to participate in a preachers meeting in Moca city, to get to solve a old difficult with several preachers from the North of the country, who weren´t participating about the national conference every year. Thanks to God, Now the church of christ from all the country are working together in the Lord.
Everybudy here are very happy, including to brother Prudencio Rodríguez and family who are very happy about that. He together at his wife sister Nuris, were who began the work to form the Puerto Plata Church of Christ in the year 1975. Now we are working together again and it is great.
SPIRITUAL FRUITS IN THE LORD

On september 14-2008, Elpidio González was baptised. He is from el Ranchito de los Vargas Church of Christ.
On september 18-2008, Lucia Núñez Artiles was baptized. She is from San Marcos Church of Christ, Puerto Plata.
On september 22-2008, Gumecindo Vargas and Rosa Elena Román were baptized. They are from Imbert, Church of Christ.
On september 27-2008, Juliana Minaya, was baptized. She is from Imbert, Church of Christ.
On october 22-2008, Cosme Brito was baptized. He is from Puerto Plata Church of Christ.
On November two (2) young ladies were baptized. They are from Montellano. With God´s help on the next report, I will be writing their names and pictures about them.
On November 10-20008, Manuel Mirabel was basptized. He is from Puerto Plata Church of Christ, and also in that opportunity a lady was baptized from Codetel Church of Christ, Puerto Plata.Brother Cándido Estrella who baptized them, is the preacher in that congregation.
On November 10-2008, Puerto Plata Church of Christ celebrated a nice and good picnic, side a river in Saballo. It is at ten (10) minutes from Imbert. Some brethren from Sosua, El Ranchito de los Vargas, Imbert, Luperón, were there together at us. One hundred and seventy (170) people were there. We cooked there, played baseball, swiming at the river, and also the best important, we celebrated a worship there. We invited the brother Cándido Estrella to preach there, and two people were baptized. They were: Manuel Mirabel from Puerto plata Church of Christ and a lady from Codetel Church of Christ, Puerto Plata. Brother Cándido·s family and several brethren from there were with us there.
On November 11-2008, brother Cosme Brito died. He was sick about his heart and so on, but he was ready in the Lord. We celebrated three meetings and many people listened the God´s word, and also his family was very grateful about that. Brother Brito had twelve (12) children, including sister Carmen Brito who is the brother Pablo Pérez´s wife. Both of them are members of Puerto Plata Church of Christ.
For finishing; I was invited to preach in an evangelistic campaign in the Center Church of Christ, in Santiago city. It will be on November 30-2008. And also I was invited to preach in Ozama Church of Christ, Santo Domingo. It will be in the first Sunday of december. Please remember me in your prayers, and also for our mission in Dominican Repúblic. Thank you very much, and may God bless you now and forever.
