EVANGELISTIC ACTIVITIES IN PUERTO PLATA AND AREAS AROUND, DOMINICAN REPUBLIC.
For September, October and November 2009.
Love and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
God is blessing our job inside and outside the city, therefore, we go ahead step by step.
Thanks to God, my family and I are doing well, however, we and many families from here have been sick about the influenza.
ACTIVITY MADE ON SEPTEMBER
On September 24/2009, we celebrated a conference in Santiago city. That activity is celebrated every year, where many brothers and sisters from the north of the country, go there to be together and to celebrate these conferences. In that opportunity around three hundred people were there, and we enjoyed very much about that.
ACTIVITIES MADE ON OCTOBER
On Otober 11/2009, two (2) young people were immersed in Christ. They are:
1. Richard Alexander Feliz Ortiz.
2. Milly Migdaly Polanco Gomez. Both of them are members of the 27 of Februay Avenue Church of Christ, Puerto Plata.
On October 12/2009, sister Elvira Dead. She stayed several years very sick of cancer. She was a good sister and worker the Lord. For several years she was leading the Puerto Plata Church of Christ’s ladies program.
On October 12 when she died, we celebrated a great meeting in her home. That night, around three hundred (300) people were there. Her house, two big yards and part of the street wer5e full of relative, friends and brother and sisters. We preached the gospel to all of them. Some of her friends and relatives are visiting us some Sundays worship.
On October 13, we celebated other big meeting at the Puerto Plata Church of Christ’s building. Around two hundred (200) people were there. We put around one hundred fifty chairs, and many people stayed stand up inside and outside
the building. After that, we moved to bury her. Later, her son and her husband requested us to celebrate two more meetings in her house and we made it.
ACTIVITIES MADE ON NOVEMBER
On November 1/2009, a young lady was immersed in Christ. She is Puerto Plata Church of Christ member. Her name is:
1. Jerarllyn Domenech
On November 18/2009, We celebrated a good meeting in Puerto Plata Church of Christ’s building. It was at 8:00 p.m. until 12:00 at midnight. It was great, because many brethren and visitors were there.
On Novenber 22/2009, I was invited to participate as speaker to the Ozama Church of Christ young people , Santo Domingo. The subjet was about the christmas. It was great.
On November, we put eighty four (84) new plates of sinc (metal) on the roof of the Puerto Plata Church building. And also, we painted all the building, thanks to God. We go ahead reparing that building little by little.
The programs of the young people and the children go ahead. We are using three class rooms at the school, which is side the Puerto Plata Church building.We have plan to build three rooms next year, to the youngs and children programs. and they say that program is very important for them. We are very happy about that, and we are sure that it`s one of the best way to preach the gospel.
On two more weeks, we will have our Radio Pregram again. Now the Radio Station is okey. Many listeners have been asking me about the program, and they say that program is very important for them. We are very happy about that, and we are sure that it`s one of the best way to preach the Christ’s gospel.
Our love, greetings and gratitude to you, and I, my family and Puerto Plata Church would like to wish you a very Merry Christmas, and a good new year with much blessing from God, and also that our Lord Jesus Christ and the Holy God’s Spirit help us to be able to continue together preaching the gospel in that part of the world.
