EVANGELISTIC REPORT

FOR JANUARY, FEBRUARY, MARCH, APRIL, MAY, UNTIL JUNE 15- 2012.

PUERTO PLATA CHURCH OF CHRIST, INSISDE, AND OUTSIDE THE CITY. DOMINICAN REPUBLIC.

Love and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

Our work in the Lord go ahead for the God’s grace and the help from our supporters, who are preaching the gospel together at us in that part of the world, with the faith that “our labour in the Lord in not in vain”. 1 Corinthians 15:58.

ACTIVITY INSIDE THE PUERTO PLATA CITY.

Our meetings with the adults, youngs, children and visitors are good thanks to God, specially in our worships every Sunday morning. We have been doing vigils from time to time (long meetings of 7:30-11:00 pm), spiritual meetings including fasting, prayers for different purposes and biblical studies. It´s of 6:00 am until 3.00 pm, And also we are having special meetings to visitors. It’s that each brother and sister invite one or more friends or relatives, to participate about that meeting. It has been very good to God’s glory and blessing to many people, who need to listen the God’s word to be saved.

CHIROPRACTIC CENTER SCHUBEL.

The Chiropractic Center Schubel, who makes therapy in the vertebral column, made a good and free medical operative at the church building, and many people received help about that (32 people) They are doing a good job, and Many people who were very sicks about their columns after thair treatment are like new, including me. I was very sick about that and now thanks to God and they, I feel like a new man without to be finishing my complete treatment. That treatment has a cost of around $24,000.00 dominican pesos for three months, and sometimes it´s longer, however, for God´s mercy they are giving me free. Please remember them in yours prayers. With God´s willing on June a group of around 36 doctors from the United States will be coming to Puerto Plata, to make a free humanitarian work in several places of the city. They are including us; therefore they will be at the church building on June 29 and 30 working about that. They are members of Humanitarian Chiromission Society. We are very grateful with them for their love and for the good job that they are doing to help to the people who need it, and who aren´t able to pay it.

ACTIVITIES OUTSIDE AND INSIDE THE PUERTO PLATA CITY.

On February 26, We celebrated the National Conference of the church of Christ´s congregations from the Dominican Republic. Many brethren and visitors were there. We traveled there by two big autobuses. That activity was celebrated in La Vega city, and the hosts was the church where is preaching brother Fausto Piña Bello. The principal speakers of that activity was brother Bolivar Ramirez, who is one of the preachers in San Juan de la Maguana churches of Christ. For God´s mercy, he made a good job there, and around 23 people received to the Lord Jesus Christ, and many of them were immersed in Christ.

Our missions inside and outside the Puerto plata city go ahead thanks to God, and the leaders of these congregations are travelling there every Sunday afternoon, after we finish the Avenue 27 of February Puerto Plata church of Christ´s worship. They are: Daniel Sanchez, to Luperón, Richard Feliz, to Montellano and from time to time to Gaspar Hernández, Alberto Sanchez, to Sosua, Pedro Tejada to Altamira, Lucrecio Mercado Hernández, to Imbert from time to time. Brother Luis Alvares is in El Ranchito de Los Vargas, Leoncio de la Cruz (Roberto) in San Marcos, Puerto Plata, and Gonzalez Payán in Los Sufridos, Puerto Plata. With God´s willing on the next evangelistic report, (including June 16 and   July month 2012), I will be including pictures of our small congregations inside and outside the city, and also I will be including  pictures of the workers who are leading them, and who work with me in Puerto Plata.

ONE BROTHER AND A SISTER SLEPT IN THE LORD.

Brother Rafael Reynoso Sosa slept in the Lord on May 8-2012. He was Puerto Plata church of Christ´s member with his Wife sister Mercedes. We celebrated three meetings about that, and We preached the Christ´s gospel to many people there.

On June 7-2012, sister Fiordaliza Munrray slept in the Lord. She stayed many years sicks of cancer. She and her husband Prudencio Peralta were Av. 27 of February church of Christ´s members. Brother Prudencio as husband took care her until until the last day of her death. Brother Prudencio Peralta is one of the first Christians members of the church of Christ in Puerto Plata, when brother Prudencio Rodriguez and his wife Nuriz then de Rodriguez,  preached the church of Christ´s doctrine for first time in Puerto Plata, in the year 1975. Two years later, I received the teaching about the church of Christ´s doctrine by sister Nuriz, and on march 13-1977, I was immersed in Christ for Brother Prudencio Rodriguez. I´m very grateful with them and I love them like my parents.

As sister Fiordaliza and husband were living for several years with the Fiordaliza´s parents in Sabaneta, and she slept in the Lord there, many brethren from Puerto Plata were travelling there several time to visit them, and also when she slept in the Lord, many brethren from Puerto Plata were there twice and we preached the gospel to many people who were there. Sabaneta is around 45 minutes from Puerto Plata.

TWO WEDDINGS IN PUERTO PLATA.

On May 31-2012, two couples got marry for the Civil official, and three of them were immersed in Christ. The couple’s names are: Javier and Juliana Hernández, Lucas and Francisca Severino de Peña.

FOUR (4) IMMERSED IN CHRIST.

1)     Bautista Cruz. On Abril 15-2012, Los sufridos church of Christ´s member. Brother Daniel Sanchez was who baptized him, and I baptized the others one.

2)      Javier Hernández. On June 3-2012, Av. 27 of February, Puerto Plata church of Christ´s member.

3)      Lucas Peña. On June 3-2012, San Marcos church of Christ´s member.

4)      Francisca Severino de Peña. On June 3-2012, San Marcos church of Christ´s member.

Several brethren were reconciled in Christ, and several visitors took the decision to receive to the Lord, and we are preparing them to be immersed in Christ next days with God´s help.

NOW, MY WIFE AND I ARE GRANDMOTHER AND GRANDFATHER.

On May 29, our oldest daughter Vanessa Mercado Reyes and her husband Walvis Kunhardt Vásquez gave birth a nice baby. Her name is Alexa Marsselle Kunhardt Mercado. We are very grateful with our God, and very happy about that. She’s our first granddaughter. Thanks to God for that great blessing.
